SUMMARY:Big Muddy Speaker Series Oct. 2023
DESCRIPTION:BMSS at Bike Stop Cafe for “Planting Trees and Enriching Communities”\nSocial Hour 6PM\, Presentation 7PM \nJoin us on Wednesday October 11 for “Planting Trees and Enriching Communities: Forest ReLeaf of Missouri’s mission to grow tree canopy for a greener future” by Meridith McAvoy Perkins\, Executive Director of Forest ReLeaf. \nWe need trees. For the air we breathe\, the water we use\, and the wildlife we love. Trees benefit the greater good in ways that most of us don’t think of. The countless benefits of trees are worth finding creative solutions. That’s why Forest ReLeaf of Missouri works with community groups\, individuals\, municipal governments\, under-resourced communities and non-profits in order to steward the expansion of native tree growth across Missouri. Learn more about the programs offered and what you can do!
